Since 1988, East Coast Umbrella has built a reputation for quality umbrellas, custom cushions, and personal service. From our 68,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Laurel Hill, North Carolina, we bring thoughtful design and careful construction to outdoor spaces for homes and businesses.
As a women-owned, family-owned company, we believe the details matter—from the materials we select to the support we provide. Our work combines manufacturing experience, custom sewing, and in-house graphics to help customers create products that fit their needs and reflect their style.

QUALITY BUILT INTO EVERY DETAIL
Our umbrella collections offer a range of sizes and styles, including fiberglass, wood, and heavy-duty commercial-grade aluminum models. Strong frames and carefully selected materials are central to our approach.
Our product development has included an exclusive fiberglass frame designed to improve performance in demanding outdoor conditions. We continue to focus on practical construction and products made for outdoor use.
CUSTOM WORK FOR YOUR SPACE
Our manufacturing capabilities extend beyond umbrellas to custom outdoor furniture cushions and other sewn products in acrylic and vinyl mesh. From seating cushions to specialized covers, we work with customers to understand the dimensions, materials, and details their projects require.
Our development work has also included the Ski-Shell, a foldable cover concept for jet skis, motorcycles, and other applications. Contact our team to discuss custom projects and current product availability.
FABRICS, COLOR, AND CUSTOM GRAPHICS
We work with quality outdoor fabric brands, including Outdura, Sunbrella, Sauleda, Recasens, Docril, and others. Acrylic fabric is a key part of our outdoor product line, with fabric options selected to suit the product and its intended use.
Our in-house graphics department adds another layer of customization through digital printing and graphic applications. Whether you have a logo, a branded design, or a distinctive look in mind, we can discuss ways to bring your ideas to your umbrellas and outdoor projects.
